History Facts: a {Project} Post

I like history. I like random trivia about history.

So I thought I’d work on posting a little trivia I learn each month, with regards to my story. I don’t want to give everything away, so I’ll try to be a little mysterious.

This month’s facts are between the dates of 1800-1810:

  • in 1800: Invention of the Modern Day Battery
  • in 1801:  Ultraviolet Radiation Discovered
  • in 1803: The Louisiana Purchase
  • in 1804: The Lewis and Clark Expedition and  First Working Full Size Railway Steam Locomotive
  • in 1809: Man-made electrical lighting

I don’t know about you, but I wasn’t aware that modern batteries and electricity were invented within 10 years of each other.

*note: not all of these relate to the {Project}, some of them are just interesting.
