The Last Books of 2016

Hello, there. Did you think I was done talking about books in 2016? Boy, were you wrong. I never really stop talking about books. I even do reviews and ARC copies sometimes if people ask nicely enough.

I’m reading several at the moment, which you will discover if you follow me on Goodreads. Speaking of Goodreads, are you doing the Book-Goals for 2017? I’d like to try, but I think my goal will have to be so low that I’ll be embarrassed about it.

We’ll see.

In the meantime, I’m reading:

In the Blood: A Jefferson Tayte Genealogical Mystery by Steve Robinson (did you think I was done talking about genealogy? Sorry. No, I like it too much)

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab (My husband and I are reading this out loud to each other- I read the chapters from female POVs and he reads chapters from the male POVs)

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder (I’m not loving this one too much. It’s been pretty clumsy so far, and I haven’t been terribly religious at picking it back up)

What’s next? What are you reading that I ought to put on my list? What’s a book or author you’ve discovered that you’re anxious to share?

What do you think?
